Bank projects

At the participating of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan the following state investment projects have been realized:

In oil and gas industry:

- Construction of the plant to manufacture lubricant oils at the Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery;

- Construction of the plant for liquid catalytic cracking and catalytic reforming at the Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery;

- Construction of the plant to manufacture polypropylene at the Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery;

- Construction of the diesel fuel hydrotreatment plant at the Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery;

- Construction of the gas and chemical processing complex in Saman-Tepe;

- Repair and develop actual oil wells;

- Putting into operation not actual oil wells.

In agro-industrial complex:

- Construction of macaroni factory in Ashgabat;

- Construction the vegetable-store and baby-food plant;

- Process modern technological equipment and combine harvesters, mechanical cotton and grain harvesters;

- Construction of miller complexes;

- Reconstruction of Ashgabat dairy products plant;

- Construction of meat and milk industry and greenhouse in suburb of Ashgabat.

In transport and communications:

- The construction of international airterminal in Ashgabat;

- The runway and air navigation centre of Airport at the name of Saparmurat Turkmenbashy in Ashgabat;

- Trans Asian and European optic-fibre communication line;

- Supply telephone stations;

- Construction of oil tanker;

- Modernization of the locomotive shed located in Ashgabat;

- Extension of telephone network in Ashgabat.

In electrical and chemical industries:

- Reconstruction of Buzmein GRES;

- Reconstruction of the raw-material base located within the Monzhuklin iodinebromine waters deposit of the Balkanabad iodine plant;

- Construction of the plant for kaolin utility;

- Construction of the first phase of the common salt factory located in the city of Karabogaz;

- Construction of the plant for desalinating sea-water and producing drinkable water in the city of Karabogaz.

In textile industry:

- Construction of Ashgabat textile complex;

- Purchase of equipment for two Silk Reeling Factories located in Ashgabat and in Turkmenabat.

In social protecting of people:

- Refreshing of the medical emergency auto cars and medical equipment;

- Construction and equipment of the plants on production of infusions, ampoules, flasks and ointments;

- Construction of Nephrology Centre in Ashgabat;

- Reconstruction of Archman sanatorium;

- Construction of three diagnostic centres in cities: Ashgabat, Dashoguz and Mary.

In sphere of tourism Bank participated in financing of construction of the hotel "Ak-Altyn" in Ashgabat.

At present, Bank take part in implementation of large-scale investment projects as:

- Reconstruction of the sea port in Turkmenbashy;

- Purchase of lifting devices for oil refinery industry;

- Develop modernization and extension the telecommunication infrastructure of the country;

- Construction of Hydrotherapy Centre in Archman sanatorium and its subdivisions in Yily Suv.

The line of projects financing by the credits of People's Republic of China are also in working out, as well as:

- The project to finance construction a factory to produce velvet and silk fabrics;

- Supply for "Turkmengas" State Concern drilling equipment and lifting crane an overhaul-mechanic plant;

- Projection and construction "Aggregates on cooling water with pumping station and aggregate on water softening and supply of component parts for the drilling" for SC Turkmengas;

- Supply of drilling equipment for the reconstruction of 3-rd drilling aggregates and supply of first drill equipment for the State Corporate "Turkmengeologia";

- Supply of seven lifting aggregates with Chinese spares for "Turkmenoil" State Corporate.

In future Bank's activity to be oriented, primarily, towards active involvement in financing of large-scale social-economic Program of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great, President of Turkmenistan, the main foundations of which stated as "Strategy of economic, political and cultural development of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2020". This program reflected the orients for the achievement of high level and prosperity of the people in Turkmenistan.
